E-tabs different Floor Load

E-tabs different Floor Load

(OP)
Hi everyone.

I'm fresh man in etabs and I need your help.

I'm modeling 20-story concrete building which is consisted of slab, column and perimeter beam using etabs.

Since I wanted to define different floor load in single story because it has different finish and usage, so I modeled single story with different slab and

applied different shell load to each drawn object.

Is this method is general method in etabs? I mean, you guys are drawing different slabs for different floor load type?

And I defined slab section with membrane modeling type because I'm going to design slab with SAFE and don't want to spent computational time to analyse the slab.

Is it OK?

It will be very helpful if you let me know how to model different floor load in single story in works.

Tanks.
