Yield Limit Equations for Bolted Connections

I'm running the yield limit equations for mechanical connections per the 2012 NDS, but my shear values for the main and side member yield modes do not match with the tabulated values in Table 11A. They're off by 45%+ (calcs are higher than table values). The yield limit equations for main and side member yield are straightforward...am I missing something here??

Thanks....very helpful to troubleshoot my calc. Looks like I had both loaded perpendicular to the grain...not physically possible.
