constraint manager: exclamation point with yellow triangle

constraint manager: exclamation point with yellow triangle

constraint manager: exclamation point with yellow triangle

(OP)
Using NX 8 I am trying to use a center (2 to 2) constraint and after I select the edges, the parts do not move into place. In constraint manager under status, an exclamation point in a yellow triangle is shown next to the new constraint. The message associated with the yellow triangle is 'referenced objects have been deleted or suppressed'. I cannot find any reason for this issue and I use this type of constraint regularly in other assemblies. I don't know if this could have anything to do with the issue, but both parts I am trying to constrain are imported STEP files that have been saved as NX parts.
Thank you.

RE: constraint manager: exclamation point with yellow triangle

Try a part cleanup on both converted parts. What also might help is to switch from history mode to History free and back...then you should have a clean NX body.
