Pipeline hot and cold end

(OP)
What is a pipeline "hot end" and a pipeline "cold end"?

Thanks

RE: Pipeline hot and cold end

Without anything else to go on Hot end means the section of pipeline which is hot, normally next to the compressor or wellhead and cold end means the other end when the contents have cooled down by the soil or seawater.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
