Pipe Sleeve

Pipe Sleeve

(OP)
Goody day,

i have a situation concerning pipe sleeves. can the size of the pipe sleeve depends on the size of flange connection?

i have 150mm pipe near a wall the consultant told me that the size of the pipe sleeve should be bigger than the flange so that the pipe can be pull out easily for servicing. thanks

Grooved flange are used. can you direct me sir if there is any code that i can use to contest the comment of that consultant?

RE: Pipe Sleeve

As long as you don't use welded flanges in the future.

Thank you for the replies.

RE: Pipe Sleeve

[While I'm not going to profess much specific expertise in the area, much larger holes than really necessary in walls also may not do much to help the structural performance of some walls, nor in the realm of fire protection to keep fires in some structures from spreading from one side of the walls to the other.] All have a good weekend.
