Hi, I need to calculate the flow rate through a in tank check valve for compressed air, but im not sure how to analize it, im considering to analize like flow through an orifice???, is this accurate???

best regards

RE: in tank check valve for compressed air

Not quite accurate. When calculating flow through a check valve, you need to know the check valve's Cv value. There are other items required to calculate the flow depending upon the media. Here is a link for calculating flows through check valves. It comes from the Check-All Valve website, http://www.checkall.com/PDFfiles/technical_data.pd.... I hope this helps.
