Which Reference book is best?

Which Reference book is best?

Which Reference book is best?

(OP)
Hey guys,

Am finally thinking of getting a reference book for ACAD 2002, to further enchance and deepen my knowledge of 3D, rendering and Lisp programming in ACAD, etc (plus to help me iron out all the simple problems too).

Checkout the stores and found three books

1. Autocad 2002 Bible
2. Inside Autocad 2002
3. Mastering Autocad 2002 Premium edition

I do architectural work BTW.

a. All three have a CD ROM but the one's that come with Bible and Mastering seem more useful compared to Inside.
b. Mastering says to have a extended 3D and programming section which is quite nice.
c. However the index and apendices for Bible and Inside are good but the one that comes with Mastering is horrible.
d. Did a search for a problem i had been facing for a while (but fortunately solved due to help from you guys :), about aliases and the acad.pgp file, both Bible and Inside have good references for it, but the author for Mastering seemed like he had never heard of or used aliases, because neither "alias" or acad.pgp was listed in the index or anywhere in the book for that matter.

What would you advice?
Any other suggestion for other titles?

Thanks

Regards
Daniel Dorall

RE: Which Reference book is best?

Just a personel preferance but I find inside autocad my favorite, but as anyone will tell you what you find easy to work with is best for you. Do you have a college libary near you? if so check out all the books you can and try them all befor you buy any.
