Jagged, blocky JT export from NX9?

Jagged, blocky JT export from NX9?

Jagged, blocky JT export from NX9?

(OP)
Hi,

PROBLEM: The JT assembly model exports I have recently* made are all coming out jagged edged when I open said JT file in VizMockup. All round objects (spheres, cones, cylinders, etc.) are hexagonal/polygonal. I've tweaked the UG/NX JT Export settings and get little to nothing and even worse quality.
*Note: JT exports were fine just last week, but I didn't change anything and it suddenly got all hexagonal on me.

QUESTION: What is this effect called and how do I fix it? Is it something in UG/NX? Or the PC (ex. GPU setting)? Or VizMockup?

1) The UG/NX file looks perfectly smooth and round/cylindrical.
2) I use FILE>EXPORT>JT

Thanks!

Try this RMB in the display window, then either select of the 3 options in Performance or select Edit and play with the image quality settings (see image).
