axisymmetric element with non axisymmetry load in workbench

axisymmetric element with non axisymmetry load in workbench

axisymmetric element with non axisymmetry load in workbench

(OP)
hi.
i am modeling a 2d vessel. all loads and geometry are axisymmetric except one of the loads (like wind)
i want to consider it using harmonic elements in workbench. any idea how ??

workbench uses plane 183 for 2d problems by default and for nonaxisymmetry loads i have to use plane 83 elements. but the problem is when i use "ET,matid,PLANE83" in command part of workbench, the elements doesnt change.

i have tested it with "plane 182" element successfully.

what is the problem ? is this possible in workbench ?

thanks in advance.
