Connector between surfaces

Connector between surfaces

Connector between surfaces

(OP)
Hi,

my question is: Can connector be assigned between two surfaces? Connector with defined failure stress.

These surfaces are flat and they are in contact (no distance between them).

RE: Connector between surfaces

Maybe some help or advice?

RE: Connector between surfaces

Yes? I would say No. A connector is placed between two nodes, not surfaces.

You could use nodes of the surfaces or couplings, but not the surfaces itself.

Ok. If it is not possible with surfaces can I do it like this:

to couple reference point on the surface to the whole surface, and to do the same with the other surface and then to assign connector between these two RP?

Have in mind that there is no distance between this two surface.
