SAP 2000 Member Dimensions

SAP 2000 Member Dimensions

SAP 2000 Member Dimensions

(OP)
Hi all,

I inherited a file from someone for a project and I just realized that they drew the members in units of inches rather than feet. For example, when they were drawing what they thought was a 30' bay was actually 30 inches. This leads me to my question; can I change the dimensions of this, or do we have to redraw the entire structure? Thanks in advance.

RE: SAP 2000 Member Dimensions

You can edit the .s2k file using a text editor and change the dimension units only. Then re-importing the model would possible fix your problem.
