Does anyone have any experience with Enercalc and Ram S Beam for composite steel beam analysis? Are the two programs comparable?
Thanks!

RE: Enercalc vs. Ram S Beam for single composite beam analysis

I've always liked RAM SBEAM better for composite, just my personal opinion. Enercalc has nice features but its so buggy. RAM SBEAM also does web penetrations.

RE: Enercalc vs. Ram S Beam for single composite beam analysis

I've used both but I often go back to S Beam. I can't really say one is significantly better than the other though.

I've had a few issues with Enercalc crashing/locking up but that may be localized to my own system.
