Thermal electric analysis

(OP)
I am currently modelling a Joule heating coupled thermal electric problem on a single composite ply. The part has been modeled as a solid and solid composite properties has been defined using the composite layup option with a zero degree orientation. A concentrated source of current has been applied at the center and all edges are at zero potential. Meshing was done using DC3D8E 8-node linear coupled thermal-electrical brick elements. But as I submit the job it gives the error that "Layered material properties cannot be defined for this element type", I then tried to create the composite using Continuum shell, defining the material properties and meshing it with the same element, it gives the error that "elements have missing property definitions". Kindly help me with this problem as I'm totally at a loss. The .cae file has been attached
