(OP)
I have used DISPSILH several times working with solids and the result is ok, but when i try to hide mesh lines of gaometry exported as dwg from 3d studio max i canĀ“t hide  mesh lines. Is there any way to resolve this?

thanks for your help

RE: dispsilh and 3dstudio max files

As far as I know, the DISPSILH setting works for curved surfaces only.
Meshes consist of many flat faces, and so when you look at the object from any viewpoint, the silouhette (viewed outline) of the object will always contain edges of faces.  It cannot contain midpoints of faces.
