Acoustical roof deck with cover plate

Acoustical roof deck with cover plate

(OP)
I'm working on a project where the architect wants to use an acoustical roof deck with a factory installed cover plate (see the attached detail).

I'm having trouble contacting the manufacturer and I need to know, how will this get attached to the structure? The cover plate is in the way for screwing/shooting the deck down. Anybody have an idea of how this is done?

RE: Acoustical roof deck with cover plate

Your attachment is upside down from how I've usually seen it for structural deck. Usually the acoustical filler is in the downwards facing flutes with cover plate on the bottom and then you attach to structure just like you would a normal deck with the only exception being you have to fasten through both deck and cover plate instead of just through deck.
