Edit Object display question

Edit Object display question

Edit Object display question

(OP)
Why is it that certain geometry don't change color even after I apply a color change through the edit object display menus? The layer is not locked, and it's very annoying. Also, what is the difference between edit object display, and "Assign feature color" in the part navigator? Thanks, first post!

RE: Edit Object display question

If someone has changed the object display of the faces on a solid body and you try to change the display of only the solid it does not change. Try changing the selection filter to faces and then select all of the faces of the body.

RE: Edit Object display question

Hi,
Edit Object display - It is used to change the display properties for selected objects like faces, curves, etc..

Assign Feature color - Set the color for the faces which all are created by that feature.

Thanks,
