Hi All,

I,ve created a second folder "NX_Custom_Symbols" in the customer defaults. When I want to define a new custom symbol i get the following error: : "Invalid folder selected.Select a subfolder to define a custom symbol"

I've tried a couple of other dir's. But I still get the same error.....sad

Attached a screen view.

NX10.0.3.5

Can someone please explain ?

Kind regards

Lars

RE: custom symbol

While in Drafting, you need to define the sub-folders for your new symbol libraries by clicking on the Reuse Library tab on the Resource bar. Right click on your added folder and select New Folder & type a name for the new folder.

It's explained quite well in the NX Help documentation.
