Tees in AIV Critical lines (Acoustic Induced Vibration)

Tees in AIV Critical lines (Acoustic Induced Vibration)

Dear All,

I am estimating MTO & coming across a line which is AIV Critical.

I want to know if the line is AIV critical, what kind of effect will come on the MTO of that particular line.

I believe, branching is quite different in AIV critical lines to overcome possible leakage due vibrations.

As we do not have a formal stress analysis report yet, what I know is Tees in these lines need to be kept under HOLD for MTO.

Also advice me, if you have any other thoughts to take care of in MTO perspective.

Thanks & Regards,
Abhijit

Thanks guys, very informative links.
Solved my problem, I am keeping entire MTO of these AIV critical lines under HOLD considering uncertainty in the absence of formal stress analysis report.

Cheers.

Thanks & Regards,
Abhijit
