nx 7.5 is there a way to MIRROR my model while keeping parameters

nx 7.5 is there a way to MIRROR my model while keeping parameters

(OP)
Can someone please tell me if nx 7.5 has a way to MIRROR my model while keeping parameters? I need a parameterized mirror and everything I have tried leaves me with a body (dumb solid lol).
Thanks

RE: nx 7.5 is there a way to MIRROR my model while keeping parameters

You can create a Mirror Body feature which will update when the original model is modified but it will not have any features itself except for the single Mirror Body feature.

Ok, I have used the mirror body but I was hoping there was a miracle that I wasn't aware of to maintain my model structure on the right side...I have many changes and didn't want to rebuild the model if I didn't have too...thanks for your time.

RE: nx 7.5 is there a way to MIRROR my model while keeping parameters

Why do you say that you have to rebuild it? If you still have the original model, just edit it and Mirror Body will update as well. Or if you ONLY want to edit the Mirrored Body, why not use Synchronous Modeling to make the unique changes?

It has a lot going on and synchronous was giving me some trouble, essentially the change is significant but you did just give me an idea so thanks! I will make the changes to my left hand and save it as a new part number then mirror.
Thanks John
