Pump Recommendation

Pump Recommendation

Pump Recommendation

(OP)
Hey guys,

I'm hoping someone can help with pump type or maybe manufacturer recommendation for my application. I'll list some details below.

- NPSHa > 30ft
- Flowrate between 40 and 100 gpm
- Kinematic Viscosity around 0.000161 ft^2/s
- Specific Gravity of around 0.82
- Temperatures as low as -75F
- Developed head around 350ft
- Pumping through 6" pipe

I've been looking into regenerative turbine pumps for high head and low flow, but they seems to have low efficiency (less than 40%). Are there pump types better suited for this application? Where should I go to look for them?

I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

RE: Pump Recommendation

Sundyne has a number of models e.g. LMV-331 that could potentially meet your needs. Go through their online catalogue and I'm sure you'll find a number of suitable options.

RE: Pump Recommendation

what are you pumping?

RE: Pump Recommendation

Any pump at that flow and head will have low efficiency which is a minor consideration if the flow /head is met and pump suits the application.
