Hi daluigi

Thank you for this pdf

I review this pdf and still have a floating understanding
Please

Is Occurence = Component (In NX Interactive mode)

and how to think about instance (In NX Interactive mode)
in the example the instances have no graphics blocks around them only links lines why

Is a Prototype is an original object or original part

in the example there is no Component

Thanks in advanced

A more thorough explanation can be found in the SNAP getting started guide (chapter 11).

In short, a "prototype" is the original object, an "occurrence" is a copy of the prototype used in an assembly.

Pretty good info, cowski - I didn't know snap would finally be the support of choice to explain easily the NX architecture... Recapped a lot quickly there and also found more to learn. Thank you.

RE: I'm confused Nxopen journal Therms: Prototype ,Component, instance,Occurence, HELP

I'm starting to gather what is occurence. But what is instance then? I'm a bit confused.

I Think occurence is same meaning as component and a
prototype is the original part file objects (which occurence objects is a copy of them)
and an instance is something close to component prototype
