Does the ASTM F1554 Grade 55 Rod is equivalent to M 8.8 Anchor Rod ???

F1154 Grade 55 has a tensile strength of 517 to 655 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 380 MPa. M8.8 has a minimum yield strength of 660 MPa.

Look at portlandbolt.com. They have a lot of good information to make the comparisons between most grades you are looking for.

Be careful. Even if they appear to have the same or identical strength, if they do not meet ASTM, they may or may not be held to the same requirements in terms of quality, inspection, testing, elongation, etc.
