Naming option for PDF

Naming option for PDF

Naming option for PDF

(OP)
Hello,

Whenever I print a pdf file, it always create a file with user_filename.
I search the customer defaults and I can't find an option to remove the "user" on the filename.
Anybody knows?

Edit:

I am doing "export" "pdf" when creating the pdf file.
I found the option under plotting and set Entry 1 "part name" 2&3 are set to "blank" but the username is still in front of the pdf filename.
Not using TCE.

TIA!

RE: Naming option for PDF

The entries under "plotting" that you found should control the file name. Did you restart NX after making the change?

RE: Naming option for PDF

Our company has had the same issues with PDF file names. The settings mentioned above worked fine. Thanks,
P.S. These settings are found here: File, Utilities, Customer Defaults, Gateway, Plotting, Job Name tab.
