(OP)
Has anyone used Solidworks MDB? I had first heard about they style of detailing about 8-10 years ago at a former company, another engineer was trying to move things towards that style of details because he had used it before with Pro E. We did not move forward with that approach. I have 2 questions about the add in:

I am not sure if it is something that would make sense for my current company. For our products it would only really make sense if detailing was easier and quicker than 2D prints. Those have who have used it, is it quicker than 2D prints? We currently do not have our models automatically dimension our prints so we manually create all the dimensions on our prints.

I am also wondering if this is a skill that other employers might want.

Thank you for your time and help,
Glenn
