Partlist Cell format
Partlist Cell format
(OP)
Hello All,
When I place the NX partlist it takes for the PC NO column the format as Number by default.
I would like to change that to Text as default.
Reason for this is we would like to have our component call-outs as 001,002,003. (leading Zero's displayed).
Is it possible to change the default cell format for partlist? I changed it (customer Defaults)for the table annotation but this is not connected.

Seems there are more things I need to arrange in the templates...Was hoping actually everything could be arranged with customer defaults...
What is the reason behind some settings still residing in the templates? Like, I can arrange the colors for the monochrome drawing in customer defaults but the background for the color drawing is still in the template...

Now if you really want to see which Customer Default settings are 'Part' versus 'Session' specific, simply go to Customer Defaults, and in the 'Find Default' dialog (the 'binocular' icon) enter the word 'All'. You will get a list of ALL the Customer Defaults and if you scroll to the far Right side of the window with the list, you will find a column labeled 'Scope' which will show you what's what. You can also go to the 'Manage Current Settings' dialog (next to the 'Find Default' icon showing an 'eye' with an 'arrow' pointing out of it). There you'll find an option to load ALL of the defaults settings to a spreadsheet where it would be much easier to sort through and see what's what.
