Connecting copper pipework to valves

Connecting copper pipework to valves

Connecting copper pipework to valves

(OP)
Good morning,

When connecting copper pipework to threaded valves what is the preferred method of connection. I have always considered 15mm-67mm using a yp69 Union and above that embrace flange. Are there other cheaper ways ?

Many thanks

RE: Connecting copper pipework to valves

Depends greatly on the size of the copper pipe and the valves...

RE: Connecting copper pipework to valves

Use of wrought copper threaded adapters is probably more common. You may also use copper valves with sweat fittings.

Depends on the application.
