Spreadsheet to calculate deflection ( EC2)

Spreadsheet to calculate deflection ( EC2)

Spreadsheet to calculate deflection ( EC2)

(OP)
Dear Colleagues

Greetings

I am using Euro code (EC2) to calculate long term deflection for slabs and beams according to clause (7.4.3) (Simplified method).

Please, could someone provide me spreadsheet (Excel sheet) to do deflection calculation?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

With Best Regards
Refaat

RE: Spreadsheet to calculate deflection ( EC2)

I doubt anyone will send one. This is engineering 101, calculating deflections. Write your own.

Greetings

I really appreciate your help by sending me your own spreadsheet to calculate long time deflection according to (EC2 – 7.4.3).
Actually, I am using the procedure in the attached capture to calculate long-term deflection

Total curvature = Flexural curvature + Shrinkage curvature

Then calculate the quasi-permanent deflection based on (K-value) … (limitation = L/250)

After that I calculate only the deflection due to all loads which have applied prior to installation partitions

The deflection value (δ = δqp – δpar ) … ( limitation = L/500)

However, It seems your spreadsheet is more detailed

In your spreadsheet many points and symbols weren't clear enough to me. If you don’t mind,
Could you provide me the reference or any explanation of your spreadsheets?
And can I apply this sheet even for simply supported or one side counties slab/beam?

With Warm Regards
Refaat
