Sketch Dimensions - dual dimension

Sketch Dimensions - dual dimension

Sketch Dimensions - dual dimension

(OP)
The units for all of our files is millimeters.
On occasion we have a part that needs to be done in inches so the conversion is made in the expression, and the drawing gets dual dimensioned.
Today I noticed that if I click on a sketch (driving) dimension and Style, it is possible to dual dimension a sketch dimension, just like on a drawing dimension.
When I make the dual dimension in inches it still shows up as millimeters, in other words both dimension values show as millimeters even if one is set to inches.
Am I missing something, or is it not possible to dual dimension a sketch dimension?
I am on NX8.5
