Non Linear Hinges

Non Linear Hinges

Non Linear Hinges

(OP)
Hello everyone..

I'm doing a time history analyses in a existent building. And i put non-linear hinges in frames to simulate the existent concrete! But when i run the analyses, it stops when the hinges reaches the maximum that i set. It's possible the analyses don't stop (when the hinges reaches the maximum, the frame "turns off")? I saw the links too but i don't know it works. Is there a better option?

Thankyou for your attention,

Regards!

RE: Non Linear Hinges

You can set a relatively large displacement value of each defined hinge curve so that the analysis is carried out.
