Double lines in Parts List

Double lines in Parts List

Double lines in Parts List

(OP)
Hi

Is it possible to have two lines of text in the same column of a Parts List? We need this to display dual languages on the drawings, as well as displaying material standard and material name in the same cell, but on different lines.

Using NX 9.0.3.4

RE: Double lines in Parts List

The only option that I'm aware of that would allow you to have two lines of text in a Parts List cell would be to use the 'Fit Settings' and make 'Wrap' the first and only option. Of course, you would have to make sure that the cell height was sufficient to take two lines of text but there is a Sort option to automatically resize the row.

Now as to how you would actually get the two lines to look like what you needed, that would take some tweaking of the attribute value used in what I assume is the Description field. That is you would have to probably have to add some dummy blanks and such as that would be the only way to control what part of the attribute string would go on the first line versus the second.
