2D flow simulation

2D flow simulation

(OP)
Hi,
I was wondering if NX advanced flow allows a 2D simulation like ANSYS Fluent? If so, how can I define the boundary conditions?
I seem to be able to import and mesh a 2D surface, but it will only let me select individual mesh elements as boundary conditions.
Also I am having problems with defining a time table for my 3D flow simulation boundary conditions. I can set the value as a time table, a new window opens up and it offers me to use MS excel to create the data points. However when my table is finished I save and close the Excel and my data disappears. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
I am using NX10. Thank you.
