Concrete Interior Temperature

Concrete Interior Temperature

Concrete Interior Temperature

(OP)
Hello All,

I need to measure the interior temperature of concrete using a thermocouple, thermistor, or RTD .. What specifications do I need?

Thank you.

RE: Concrete Interior Temperature

The American Concrete Institute recommends limiting the internal temperature to less than 158F to prevent delayed ettringite formation.

The Portland Cement Association has similar. Check both organizations for mass concrete placement and control recommendations.

RE: Concrete Interior Temperature

Qaderzz,

do you need specs for the type of equipment or for the concrete? i only measure the temperature in cases pf extreme weather temperatures or when doing mass concrete pours.
