Naming issues in NX10

Naming issues in NX10

(OP)
Hi,

when I name my features it's not showing in the part of the cell that I can see, the feature name(like extrude(1)) always comes first , so i have to drag the edge line way right in order to see what it is based on the name I given. does anybody know how to get rid of these annorying words to make the part that I named come first?

Thanks.

RE: Naming issues in NX10

I can't help you, but I hope you get an answer. I gave up naming operations a long time ago because they're not visible enough to be worth it for me. Hopefully something simple.

With your Part Navigator open, place your cursor over some 'white space', press MB3 and select the 'Properties' option. When the dialog comes up, select the 'General' tab, set the 'Name Display' option to 'User Replaces System' and hit OK.

You know that whole retirement thing is over-rated. Can't you wait at least until I retire?
Thanks,
John
