NX extracting parts of file name

NX extracting parts of file name

NX extracting parts of file name

(OP)
Hi I’m new here and using NX10 for two weeks. when I’m saving a NX file it is in this manner:
xxxxxx_yy__zzzzzzzz.prt
xxxxxxxxxx:= unique number length is not fixed)
yy:= revision number (max two digits)
zzzzzzzz:= name of the part (length is not fixed)
In the title block I’d like to have the x,y and z part separated.
I think it’s possible for someone to write a Grip code which extracts the x,y and z parts and loads them into separate attributes ?
The separators between x,y and z may vary, something like a double dash or a triple dash to make a difference.
Who can help ?
