Any test data for FIELD VANE SHEAR TEST at LOW depth?

Any test data for FIELD VANE SHEAR TEST at LOW depth?

Any test data for FIELD VANE SHEAR TEST at LOW depth?

(OP)
I need some reference data (result) of field vane shear test for low depth as 0-5ft. It is needed for research work. Can anyone provide ?

RE: Any test data for FIELD VANE SHEAR TEST at LOW depth?

For the typical field vane test it would seem that this more likely would be data from hand type equipment, perhaps in conventional bore holes or without a bore hole first. Under those circumstances, if it were me, I'd get out there and develop some of my own data. What soil strength range are you interested in?

Or, in using some other info, perhaps you might explain more to see if someone has exactly what you want.

RE: Any test data for FIELD VANE SHEAR TEST at LOW depth?

You can use minature shear vane testers rather than the larger ones used down boreholes
