Transferring image to surfaces

I have been asked by a customer to add their logo to a panel is their some format of graphics file that I can use which will provide an edge curve so that I can use these to create the surface without having to redraw?

Thanks.

@markwindsurf
I think the Developed Shapes license allows you to transfer 2D elements to a 3D curve. It also contains features to fold/unfold a surface.

RE: Transferring image to surfaces

this is a good way to use picture as a texture. used that several timespc2.
if a logo not too complex you can convert it to dxf and then workaround with that.

Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately the logo is a very complex flowery script, so impractical to trace. JeniaL how would I translate the image to a DXF?

RE: Transferring image to surfaces
