Advises for Ammonia Sphere

(OP)
Dear All,

Could you share your experiences for pressurized ammonia sphere connection line
isolation valves? Which type is better? Ball will be cheaper but sealing can be an issue
after cycles.
Ammonia Gas Sphere
Design Pressure : 17,23 Bar g. (250Psig)
Design Temp : : -40°C / +44°C
Work. Pressure : 13,5 Bar g.
Inputs will be appreciated.

RE: Advises for Ammonia Sphere

Your question is a bit vague on sizes and actual application, hand-operated or automated or not, and the total quality level you are sighting at.

I suggest you take a search, reading up on valves built for ammonia, and stick to those. Search for instance for 'valves for ammonia' or 'industrial refrigeration'.

As an example on fully automated systems, below link will give an example. (Competitors to be found worldwide.)
