MAWP and MDMT on vessel nameplate

MAWP and MDMT on vessel nameplate

MAWP and MDMT on vessel nameplate

(OP)
Hi

I would like a clarification on the MAWP and MDMT that is listed on the nameplate.

What should be the temperature that completes the following statement? Is it design temp, MDMT or operating pressure?
example--> MAWP: 152 psig @ ?? deg F

What should be the pressure that is used to record MDMT? Is it design pressure, MAWP, or operating pressure?
MDMT: -20 deg F @ ?? psig

Thanks

RE: MAWP and MDMT on vessel nameplate

As a minimum your MAWP should be at Design pressure and Design temperature, MDMT should also be at Design Pressure as a minimum, you should be Operating within the Design ratings.
