hello,
I simulate a mechanical joining method "clinching": 2D Axisymmertic in Dynamic Impl
I try stamping two sheets (deformable) whit a punch rigid. I used simple contact friction 0.2
During the simulation the edges in the end of the sheets don't move. The stress around the punch becomes very important and the elements are distorted [banghead]

I'm not sure why the image didn't come through in your post since the syntax looks correct but I'll try to post it again for you.

I tried to use adaptive re-meshing but i have a error message about the "error variable"
--> no error variables are valid for the selected step type
