(OP)
can we use ss316 or 410 Ball with PEEK Seats.
knowing the PEEK is a hard material will it cause any problems with SS316 or 410 Ball.
PEEK can scratch the ball made of soft material like SS316??

RE: ss316 or 410 Ball with PEEK Seat

Hi quiinces,

In my opinion, PEEK material can never cause scratch on SS/F6a ball, it is softer than the steel. PEEK is commonly used as the seat materials for high pressure use.

RE: ss316 or 410 Ball with PEEK Seat

People have been making 316 ball valves with PEEK seats for at least 20 years.
