The MOVE command - select color

Is there a way to filter out only objects of a certain color to move, utilizing the MOVE command ?
I am not sure what I am missing here, but I thought it was there someplace.

You can filter for color with the tool in the selection tool bar. Click the palette icon and choose the color(s) that you want to filter for.

RE: The MOVE command - select color

I assume that you're referring to the 'Move Object' function, correct? When you open the Move Object dialog, but before you start to select anything, go to the Selection Bar and select the 'Color Filter' icon (it looks like an artist's palette and if it's not available you'll need to edit the contents of the Selection Bar so as to add the icon) and you've get the color palette dialog with ALL of the colors selected. Simply the color(s)(select multiple colors using 'Ctrl-Select') that you wish to filter on and then hit OK and now you can start to select the objects that you wish but only those colors you selected will be valid. All others will be non-selectable.
