Creating New Command - Please Help (NX10)

Creating New Command - Please Help (NX10)

(OP)
I want to create a new button/command that will allow me to pick my target and then able to wave link a body into it, that's just the first part of it, secondly once it's in there, I want it to trim the piece and then delete the trim piece.

I know it will have to use the wave link function, then trim, and then delete body commands, I am just not sure on how to go about setting this up, do I use a journal or macro? I am not new at NX but I have never coded before. Any help or point me in the right direction would be awesome, I would like to start learning how to code.

RE: Creating New Command - Please Help (NX10)

Before I spent a lot of time with perhaps journals or maybe even NX Open, I would first look at the 'Product Interface' functionality of NX. You can find information about it in the NX Help files and in the software by searching on "Product Interface".
