SolidWorks Sheet Metal - Need Help

SolidWorks Sheet Metal - Need Help

SolidWorks Sheet Metal - Need Help

(OP)
Hi,

I have a project requiring a SolidWorks 2013 sheet metal part. The main piece created using a Base Flange. The two end pieces is the problem. The main piece on both ends needs capped off while maintaining the upper most 1" top flange. I have the end piece started but it needs to be trimmed to match the main pieces profile (see the attached grab from AutoCAD). Ultimately I need the flat pattern of this piece. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please see attached screen grabs and SW file.

Thanks!

Are you looking for a one piece or three piece solution?

One piece if possible.

I was in over my head with this one and appreciate your sacrifice of time and efforts spent on helping a complete stranger. I will give it another try!
Considering the times we are living in, it restores my faith in human kind.
All the best to you!!!
