Dear Forum mates:

I am recently focusing on applying ABAQUS to model the static buckling behaviour of a bar, and sometimes I found the whole or part of the contour shows grey or white color and I was notified that the deformation is not available, what is the reason of that? is that mean some output options I did not correctly choose? Because sometimes if I only pick some specific output that I need, and when I click the contour Mises stress, the similar prompt will come to me, so I just want to verify what is the reason for that, thanks everyone who finish reading this small thread!

Best Regards,
Kyle

Either the body is rigid or you should check your field output requests (variables, regions, output times).

Okay thank you very much for your answer, I feel great that I am partly right, but mate, what you mean bu the body is rigid, if I never set the body as a rigid body?

Best Regards,
Kyle
