Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

(OP)
My google-fu has failed me and since no one else seems to have posted this problem on the internet...

I'm using Hilti Profis Anchor Versin 2.6.2, in the past, I have been able to create custom anchor layouts, but that option seems to be unavailable now. Any idea how to make the "Customize layout" button stop being greyed out?

Of course, 5 seconds after posting, I figure it out... Click on "Anchor Plate" tab, click on "Customize Geometry" then click on "Anchor layout editor".

You're welcome.

RE: Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

Thanks!

Why on earth would they change that? That doesn't make sense.

RE: Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

Apparently it is a glitch in the program. I spoke with a Hilti sales guy about it. He said it will be fixed in the January update.

RE: Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

Anyone notice there is an option to calculate anchor plate thickness, but it is grayed out. I chose some random country that was not the US, and the option was available.

RE: Hilti Profis Anchor - Customized Layout tab greyed out

I have bugged them about it and, you are correct, it is not available in the US. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be. Hopefully they will change this soon, because it is annoying to have to run separate programs.
Powers PDA and the Simpson Strong-tie program both have thickness design calculations.
