NX10 2D Dimensions moving to snap locations how to turn off?

NX10 2D Dimensions moving to snap locations how to turn off?

How do I keep Dimensions in 2D drafting from snapping to and jumping around on my screen. Yes I can hold down alt to remove this behavior. Just hoping for a setting to turn this snapping behavior off.

RE: NX10 2D Dimensions moving to snap locations how to turn off?

In the dimension dialog, turn off the "position on margin" option. For a more permanent fix, check your drafting preferences and/or customer defaults.

Ok I tried changing that on a dimension that was already created and I can not turn it off. (I can but it will not take) But if it is turned off before I put the dimension in it works. Thanks Cowski This was driving me up wall. Would this be more for dialogue memory vs a customer default? Thanks again.

Probably; upon further inspection, it looks like alignment isn't controlled by preferences or customer defaults.

Yep works great for vertical, horizontal dimensions. Angle dimensions nope. It turned itself back on. Even if it is turned off the angle dimension likes it on. Contacting GTAC.
