BEAM DESIGN

BEAM DESIGN

BEAM DESIGN

(OP)
Though I am not conversant with SAP2000 for design concrete members, but I want to know is it possible that I can define the Frame length for design by the software, That is I wanted to ignore some internal node created in the frame member for transfer of wall load more accurately to a beam supporting the wall.

Thanks for reply. Can you be specific which video or documents. I haven't found any. If you know how to define the length of a beam for beam design by the software itself, please share so that we can educate ourselves. This definition of length may be required if you split the beam to multiple segments by creating nodes to have a better response from wall beam joints.
Thanks any way.
