Is there a way to make subassembly from huge assembly by selecting parts in that huge assembly and apply some commands on them? NX 7.5

Create a new assembly and copy paste your components in it.

oI id not explain fully as I can see from your answer.
I have 5 levels of assembles, on level two from bottom, i have some parts that are added to this level as parts and not as sub-assemblies. Now I need to make move them to sub-assemblies so level two is made only from subs without parts. So is there a way just to select parts and make sub-assembly from them?

It seam that create new component and selecting parts is solution... It was in front of my nose.
