Modelling of floating box using Abaqus

Modelling of floating box using Abaqus

(OP)
Hello people,
I am new to Abaqus and am doing an academic project on floating structures.
I am trying to model a simple box floating in water and study the bending moment due to self weight. I am not able to get how to apply the boundary conditions.
I am referring the attached paper which, as far as the language goes, is stating to apply the boundary conditions on the master node located at the center of the end surfaces on both sides. However, I am not able to get the results.
Could you please advise on how do I set up the problem? Also some basic tips on important aspects of modelling a floating structure such as a ship would be very helpful.
Thank you and a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
