Error while using VUMAT subroutine

Error while using VUMAT subroutine

Error while using VUMAT subroutine

(OP)
Respected All researchers,

I am working on a subroutine VUMAT with elastoplastic analysis using non associated flow rule with non-linear mixed hardening and anisotropic yield function and plastic potential of quadratic HIll anisotropic yield criteria and also with nonquadratic yield criteria of Boyes and Hosford. When i run the simulations with quadratic anisotropic criteria for both yield function and plastic potential it works good and when i use nonquadratic anisotropic criteria with higher degree of polynomial for yield function it also works good but when i use nonquadratic anisotropic criteria with higher degree of polynomial for plastic potential for finding the normal and its derivative , i get the following error.

" The job input file "Job-1.inp" has been submitted for analysis.
Job Job-1: Analysis Input File Processor completed successfully.
Job Job-1: Abaqus/Explicit Packager completed successfully.
ERROR in job messaging system: Error in connection to analysis
Job Job-1 completed successfully."

Any one who can suggest me what is the problem?

Best regards to all
Ajmal

RE: Error while using VUMAT subroutine

I doubt if anyone can give you THE answer. Do you have a wrapper FORTRAN script that you can use independent of Abaqus? Such a script lets you debug your code. Also, if you do not have one, you should have a symbolic math script on the side to verify your results against.
